ABOUT ANNA

Anna Elsaesser was born in 1985 in Bregenz, Austria. At the early age of 11, Anna was part of many productions at the "Bregenz Festivals", Operas such as "Dido and Aeneas" and Mozart's "Don Giovanni".

At the age of 17 Anna played the part of the Grand Duchesse in Alber Camu's "The Just".

After her graduation from Commercial College in Bregenz Anna traveled to New Zealand for six months to do some travels and to take acting classes in English.

During her stay she made friends with Hollywood actor Karl Urban ("Lord of the Rings", "Bourne Supremacy") and his lovely family. The German rooted actor inspired Anna and reminded her of her biggest passion: making movies.

Anna returned to Europe and started her studies in Munich at the "Internationale Schule für Schauspiel und Acting (ISSA)". During her studies she was part of productions in Germany such as "Bal-Trap", and "The Importance of being Ernest".

In 2007 Anna went to New York City to study at the famous Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute. During her two year stay she studied with:
 Paul Calderon ("Pulp Fiction", "21 Gramm") und Geoffrey Horne ("Big Daddy"), Robert Castle, Hope Arthur and Robert Ellerman which have also given acting classes to Angelina Jolie, Adam Sandler, Alec Baldwin etc.

Famous Allumnies of the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute are Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and Marilyn Monroe.

Anna has done many independent and student films during her studies. She took speech classes with John van Wydn and speaks American and British English with no accent.

Anna returned to Austria in 2009 and since then she has been in many productions.

She is also hosting events in Austria and does audio books, radio commercials.
